They are read as bitterness, resentment and anger that have been kept for years until they take a stony form, and as strength you stored instead of using. Bile is the bitter, viscous liquid the liver makes to digest fats. It is stored in the gallbladder, and that is where the stone sits, one large one or many small ones. In ordinary speech people say they have "stones in the liver". Many stones cause no trouble. A stone that blocks the outlet causes a fierce pain, often after a rich meal. Infection, jaundice and pancreatitis are the complications, and they are medical emergencies. Treatment may be waiting, medicine, or surgery to remove the gallbladder. Diet and weight play a part. A blocked or infected bile duct is urgent. - Yellow skin or eyes, dark urine or pale stools. - Pain that does not settle within an hour, or that keeps returning. - Gallstones found on a scan with no symptoms often need no treatment.
