## What weariness is

Weariness is the tiredness in which the body feels spent and the wish to abandon appears. Boredom and discouragement take the mind. It is close to ordinary fatigue, and it is also close to a low mood. If rest does not restore you, a doctor should look for causes such as anaemia, low blood pressure, thyroid trouble, depression or a life that has simply been too much for too long.

The reading below does not replace that check. It asks what, in the way you are living with other people, has worn you out.

## The emotional meaning of weariness

The source asks a direct question: what brought this weariness on? You are unsatisfied with your emotional relationships, with a partner or with friends. You are weary of adapting endlessly to others. You live a split between putting your needs first and putting theirs first. Often, it says, the blood grows poor, because the joy of living is no longer there.

That is why this page is linked with the head, where discouragement settles, and with the heart and circulation, where the source speaks of impoverished blood and points toward blood pressure that is too low. Those are also medical possibilities. Feeling weary is not a diagnosis of either.

### A taste for life, on purpose

The healing direction is to take up a taste for life again by doing things you love, by giving yourself pleasure, and by listening to gentle music. The source offers that as a way to lift your spirits, and to come back into contact with the soul that can guide you toward joy.

## A gentler way to hold it

The aim is not to push through. Weariness is asking for a change of priority, and sometimes for a blood test. The emotional perspective invites you to stop living only as an adaptation to other people.

- **Name the relationship that tires you.** A partner, a friend, or the habit of pleasing all of them.
- **Put one of your needs first.** The split between your needs and theirs is the conflict the source describes.
- **Do something you actually like.** Pleasure is part of the remedy it offers, not a prize for recovering first.
- **Have the tiredness checked** if it does not lift. Joy and haemoglobin are not the same question, and both can be true.
